Hi! Glad you enjoyed it, hope it was helpful :)
I was in school accomodation, Fresche Blanc and my friends were in Bourgeonierre, which is a few minutes walk away. They are about a 20min bus ride to l’ecole. I found it fine, very small but had my own room and bathroom. shared kitchen. It was a bit far from town… easy to get to by tram, but the trams don’t run very late at night so if you want to go out its a little hard. There really aren’t any taxis around. You can call the depot and order one if your French is good enough, but there aren’t any just driving about town. The good thing with freshe Blanc was living near everyone from class, most of the international class lived close by. But if I went back I would live in town in a sharehouse, renting a room. You have much more opportunity to speak French and have a social life, and you can live right in the centre in the beautiful french architecture.
Hope you enjoy it there! I did!
